History

Key Fire Hose Corporation was established and currently operated by Charlie Genther since 1988, at which time 16 looms were put into production. Since that time, the company has been on a steady growth plan.

The purchase of more equipment in 1997 allows us to continue along this path. Upon completion of this expansion in 1998, the production output of 84 looms at Key Fire Hose Corporation in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. creates the largest fire hose manufacturing plant in the world, with production capability of 25 million plus feet of fire hose per year.

The fully trained work force is the back bone of Key Fire Hose Corporation. Many of these employees have been with us from the beginning and had previous experience when they started. The average service time is above ten years of fire hose manufacturing.

The knowledge of these people has helped to produce the quality fire hose we have supplied to most major U.S. cities and countries around the world, such as Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the Philippines, to name just a few.

With the completion of this expansion, we have increased our output 500% from its original capabilities and have a capacity of over 2 million feet per month.
